Miraj Ahmed is an artist and architect. Marina Lathouri studied architecture and philosophy of art and aesthetics. She directs the graduate programme in the History and Critical Thinking at the AA and lectures at Cambridge University. She has previously taught at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Navarra, Spain and is Distinguished Visiting Professor at the. The book club will explore the role of architecture in literature, how fiction can articulate very real architectural issues and the way in which architecture itself can become a character. Dora Sweijd & Theo Sarantoglou Lalis are the founders of LASSA (), an international architecture studio with offices in London and Brussels. Dora and Theo have lectured internationally, lead workshops and taught undergraduate studios at Chalmers, LTU in Sweden as well as the AA . Alistair Lenczner, director at Expedition, is a highly experienced architectural and engineering designer. His career has included long spells with Arup and as partner at Foster + Partners. His many varied past projects include Wembley Stadium and Millau Viaduct. Currently on the HS2 Design Panel.

The Architectural Association (AA), the oldest independent school of architecture in the United Kingdom, is pleased to announce that it has been granted the power to award its own degrees. As of 1 Octoberthe AA has the right to establish new academic programmes and degree awards and is working to create some of the world’s most pioneering courses in architecture to shape and build the.
